Explore Twin Falls

Located in Idaho’s Magic Valley region, Twin Falls is the largest city in the Valley and in fact, the biggest city in a 100-mile radius. Twin Falls serves as a regional commercial center for south-central Idaho and northeastern Nevada. Jackpot, Nevada is often considered part of the Greater Twin Falls region.

Historic Downtown Twin Falls

Downtown Twin Falls is the heart of the city. Visitors can find shopping, locally sourced cuisine, art, events and so much more! The historic old town covers multiple blocks and has something for everyone.

A recent revitalization brought new businesses and a community common space for events – including a splash pad for families. Patrons will find boutique shops, crave worthy dining, a restored theater, breweries, night life and lots of activities.

Herret Center for Arts and Science

The Herrett Center for Arts and Science is a non-profit museum on the main campus of the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho, USA. Its purpose is primarily educational, offering programs to elementary and secondary school students, CSI students, and the adult community of south-central Idaho. The Center collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits anthropological artifacts and natural history specimens with an emphasis on the prehistoric American continents.

The monument also includes a portion of the Oregon Trail. Information related to the entire Oregon Trail as well as the Idaho portion is available in the Visitor Center.

Balanced Rock

Over 48 feet tall and 40 tons, the wind-carved rock balances precariously on a pedestal only 3 feet by 17 inches. The trailhead for Balanced Rock is located just west of the Balanced Rock Park. The parking lot is only a few hundred feet away from the rock. It is a quick, but fairly steep climb to get to the top. There is little shade near Balanced Rock, but sunrise and sunset are stunning. It is also a great place for dark sky photographers.

The nearby Balanced Rock Park is an excellent spot for a picnic or camping. The beautiful Salmon Falls Creek and Canyon are an oasis in the desert.

Shoshone Falls is a natural wonder on the Snake River that rises 212 feet, higher than Niagara Falls. It’s best observed in the spring when the water flows are high. Shoshone Falls hosts playgrounds, hiking trails, landscaped picnic areas, a boat ramp, a swimming area and a scenic overlook.

Thousands Springs produces awesome water displays where springs bubble up from deep within the river bed to form a crystal blue water pool. The water that explodes from the rock canyon walls and rushes to the Snake River is thought to be surges of the Big Lost River.

More waterfalls strut their stuff at Bridal Veil Falls, Pillar Falls, Twin Falls and the Perrine Coulee Falls.

The Perrine Bridge

For a fantastic view, walk across this bridge 1,500 feet across the Snake River to look down 50 stories at a panoramic sight of the Snake River and the Centennial Waterfront Park.

See Evel Knievel’s famous Snake River motorcycle jump site. Watch the base jumpers plunge off the bridge, or book a jump yourself!

National Monuments

Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve features a vast ocean of lava flows with scattered islands of cinder cones and sagebrush. Explore this weird, scenic and other worldly landscape!

Shoshone Ice Caves

These unique caves have a floor of ice. A statue of a dinosaur ridden by a caveman and a three-story high Native American, Chief Washakie, greet you as you tour the frozen-year-round cave in your vehicle.

Jackpot, Nevada

Get your game on by visiting Barton’s Club 93, Cactus Pete’s Resort and The Horseshu casinos in Jackpot, just a short 40 mile drive on highway 93 from Twin Falls RV Park. There is easy access to hunting, fishing, hiking, water and winter sports. You can also enjoy concerts, entertainment and events at area hot spots.

Sun Valley

Natural beauty, skiing and other outdoor recreation in and around the Sun Valley will keep you exhilarated during your stay at Twin Falls RV Park. Excellent dining choices, a thriving arts scene and an abundance of shopping await you in Sun Valley/Ketchum.

Take an evening sleigh ride through the woods to a gourmet dinner at Trail Creek Cabin or enjoy an evening stroll on the legendary gallery walk.

One of the oldest ski areas in the western U.S., Pomerelle began its operations in 1940. During the ski season the area operates daily from 9am - 4pm and Tuesday through Saturday 9am - 9pm.

Pomerelle features a spacious lodge at the bottom of the mountain offering foods and beverages. The Slope Side Grill outside the lodge on the deck offers hamburgers, hot dogs, and cold drinks. The basement offers a full line of accessories and rentals.
